Senior Pastor
Rev. Thad Haygood is the fifty-seventh Senior Pastor in the history of St. Luke Church.
Thad previously served as the Senior Pastor at Albany First Methodist Church, in Albany, GA, and also served churches in Perry, Cuthbert and Dublin, GA. Thad is a graduate of Young Harris College, the University of Georgia and received his Master of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. He is married to Laura Douglas Haygood, originally from Columbus. They have two daughters: Gentry who is a student at Auburn University, and Ruthie, a student at Samford University.
Thad has a previous connection and legacy with St. Luke Church, as his father, Rev. David Haygood, served as an Associate Pastor of St. Luke from 1966-1970.
